About

Val Miro, LPC

I partner with youth and adults in navigating issues involving relationships, identity, anxiety and depression, as well as life transitions, stress management and trauma. My diverse background in corporate leadership and school counseling informs my approach while integrating mindfulness, somatic and person-centered expressive arts practices.

I want to ensure that you feel safe and supported during our sessions. I will serve as a guide for you and help you discover the tools and resources available to your unique healing journey.  Together, we’ll create space for you to breathe again, to explore who you are beneath the coping and trauma and build a life of clarity and strength.

My approach is focused on you and your needs, and I believe you have what you need to heal within you. You're not broken and you don't need to be fixed - that's not what therapy is about. It’s about understanding you and finding the path to make healing possible. Let's start where you are.
