About

My introduction to working with youth began by observing my mother, a Speech Therapist, support preschoolers with speech delays. This early exposure highlighted the powerful role that communication, connection, and therapeutic support can play in enhancing well-being and quality of life. It also sparked my passion for working with children and adolescents and my commitment to creating empowering, positive spaces where young people can grow, heal, and thrive.

Some of my previous experience includes working in a residential treatment center, providing ABA therapy in a variety of settings, and coaching school teams in major school districts. I have also taught art classes to at-promise youth and volunteered at the Center for Child Protection. These diverse roles have deepened my appreciation for empathy, creativity, and the importance of strong relationships in the healing process. I am passionate about utilizing play-based approaches to foster connection, strengthen resilience, and build upon each child’s unique strengths as they navigate life’s challenges. I also enjoy partnering closely with caregivers to support their child’s emotional growth and development. Additionally, I offer parent-focused mental health counseling, which can be effective independently of a child’s participation in therapy.
