My introduction to working with youth began by observing my mom, a Speech Therapist, assisting preschoolers with speech delays. This early exposure highlighted the significance of communication and therapy in enhancing mental wellness and quality of life. I am committed to cultivating empowering, positive spaces for children and adolescents, fueling my passion for therapy.
Some of my previous work experience includes working in a residential treatment center, providing ABA therapy in various settings, and coaching school teams in major school districts. I also have spent time teaching art classes to at-promise youth and volunteering at the Center for Child Protection. These wide ranges of roles deepened my appreciation for empathy, connection, and creativity in healing. I am passionate about utilizing play and art therapy approaches to create healing bonds and fortify the strengths within children as they navigate life.
