About

Smiling woman with wavy brown hair against a textured wall.

Natalie Van Dyke, MA Clinical Intern

I am a master’s-level clinical mental health counseling intern who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I believe that every person's experiences, challenges, and strengths are unique, and I approach therapy with genuine curiosity, compassion, and respect. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable exploring life's difficulties while discovering new ways to move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

I view therapy as a collaborative process that is tailored to each individual's needs, values, and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I enjoy getting to know each client's story and working together to identify what will be most helpful throughout the therapeutic journey.

I have several years of experience providing behavioral therapy for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, which sparked my passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families. When working with children, I incorporate play-based approaches to help them communicate, process emotions, and build social, emotional, and behavioral skills in developmentally appropriate ways. I also value working closely with caregivers, providing education, support, and practical strategies that foster growth and strengthen relationships beyond the therapy room.
