I am a master’s-level clinical mental health counseling intern who works with children, adolescents, and adults. For the past ten years, I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings, including schools, camps, tutoring programs, and behavioral health services. Coming from a family of educators and professionals who have dedicated their careers to working with children, I developed an early appreciation for helping young people learn, grow, and overcome challenges.
Before pursuing counseling, I studied philosophy, politics, and economics at the University of Michigan. My interest in understanding the human experience ultimately led me to the field of mental health. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth and strive to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
When working with children, I incorporate play-based approaches to help them express themselves, process emotions, and communicate in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate. I also enjoy partnering with caregivers to support their child's growth beyond the therapy room. Additionally, I have a particular interest in working with adolescents, boys, and men as they navigate identity, relationships, emotional expression, and societal expectations. My goal is to help clients build greater self-understanding, resilience, and confidence while recognizing and building upon their existing strengths.
