About

Every person has a unique story to share, and my passion is to hear and witness their story from their narrative. My love and appreciation of story telling brought me to my career in mental health after over a decade as a theater practitioner and mental health advocate. In addition to my clinical experience through my previous internship at Bee Counseling, I have experience teaching adults and children with neurodivergence, creating social justice programs, working as an early childhood mental health consultant, and providing case management in a collaborative mental health clinic.

I believe that each person is the expert in their own life and has strengths within themselves that they already utilize and can build upon. I provide person-centered services by respecting everyone’s intersectional identities and the experiences that helped shape that unique individual. I value meeting people where they are at, providing services that resonate with the client’s goals and strengths, and being with them through all the feelings that can come up. I also appreciate that therapy doesn’t always have to be talking about heavy things. It  can be about having fun, laughing and playing, and of course celebrating all the achievements throughout the healing journey.  My commitment to my clients is to provide a safe space where empathy, vulnerability, and self-compassion can thrive.
