I have over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field, supporting individuals from early childhood through adulthood. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community mental health outpatient clinics, residential treatment homes, and day treatment programs. While I have experience across the lifespan, I feel especially connected to working with young children and their families, and I specialize in early childhood.

I use play-based therapy to help children express themselves, make sense of their feelings, and build skills to manage big emotions and behaviors. I also work closely with parents and caregivers, offering support, insight, and practical tools to better understand and respond to their child’s needs. My goal is to create a space where both children and families feel supported, understood, and empowered.

For 19 years, I worked as a Functional Family Therapy (FFT) National Consultant, where I trained therapists and supervisors across the country and internationally in an evidence-based model designed for at-risk youth. This experience has deeply shaped my understanding of family systems and strengthened my commitment to helping families create meaningful, lasting change.
